Renderosity Magazine Weekly Art Challenge - Week 32

Oct 05, 2022 at 01:15 am by nickcharles

Welcome to Week 32 of the Renderosity Magazine Weekly Art Challenge! The aim of this challenge is to get everyone creating, regardless of tools or methods.

This week's challenge theme, as suggested by artdreamer, is"storm."

See where the word storm leads you!

Hope you enjoy this week's challenge. And, if you have any suggestions for future challenges, please let me know!

If you wish your work to be featured, contact me at nickcharles@renderosity.com, and be sure to include "Renderosity Magazine Weekly Art Challenge" in the subject line. All I ask is that for your work to be featured, it does not contain nudity, or otherwise could be deemed offensive.

Last week's challenge theme was 'noise'. Here are some submissions:

This piece was submitted by Dochtersions on Renderosity.

"Here is my entry this week.I really doubted, or make something about the 'din' meaning, or the 'noise' meaning. First I made an image with the pope behind a drum set, with a text cloud in which I had written 'Deng, Deng'. But I opted for the image below. This is a photo that I took from a tea glass, where there was still some soapy water and an air bubble in it. Anyway, I have edited this photo in such way that there is both noise and something that looks a bit like sound waves."

This piece is from kareldg on Renderosity.

"This is a Wombo changed to get more noise with different filters."

This piece was submitted by artdreamer on Renderosity.

"This collage is composed of four AI #stablediffusion creations, put together in Photoshop. I thought it was a nice topic 'noise'."

This piece, "Different Ways to Celebrate," was submitted by APlusDesign.

"Caption: To celebrate their success, Ping arranged a quiet dinner party. Pounce's idea of celebrating was a lot noisier.
When reading the prompt of 'noise' I thought of positive noises, like ones when we celebrate: pleasant conversations, to laughter, to full on screams of joy and loud music. This was put together in Daz Studio."

I hope you enjoyed this challenge and you continue to follow up weekly. And, please, spread the word! You do not need to be a member of Renderosity to participate, and you do not need to submit your work if you do not wish to. This is a work in progress and the format may change as it grows.

Thank you, and have a creative week ahead!

The Renderosity Magazine Weekly Art Challenge appears every Wednesday, in which I provide a prompt of sorts, whether a theme, word, or idea. There are no strict guidelines, and any tools or methods are acceptable. You can use any software you wish, or use traditional means. There are no limits to where the prompt might lead you.

Each succesive week, I will talk about the previous week's challenge, show what I came up with, as well as the work of other participants, and provide the theme/idea for the next challenge.

There are no prizes for this weekly challenge at this time. This is just to get us all doing something creative, no matter the tools or methods.
